Jan is a London-based designer with nearly a decade of experience in the fine and demi-fine jewellery industry. Trained as a silversmith at Edinburgh College of Art, her practice extends beyond jewellery; as her curiosity about scale and form has led her to designing and developing sculptural ceramic ranges and homeware objects.

Most recently, as Head of Design at British jewellery brand Monica Vinader, she has led the design team and developed collections from initial concept through to final production, working closely with overseas manufacturers.

Earlier in her career, as Senior Designer at contemporary jewellery brand Completedworks, she designed the brands main seasonal collections alongside capsule collections, brand collaborations and bespoke bridal and special commissions for private clients.

Throughout her career, she’s collaborated with notable brands and individuals, including Selfridges, Net-A-Porter, Kate Young and Neous.
